Paul Jones, 92, a resident of Fort Smith, formerly of Scranton, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at his home in Fort Smith.
He was born November 12, 1923, in Scranton to the late Albert and Mary (Needham) Jones. Paul married Dora Lorene Snow on January 16, 1944, in Scranton. He worked as a machine operator at Garrison Manufacturing and Riverside Manufacturing for over 40 years. He was a member of the Dublin Free Will Baptist Church. Paul was an avid dart player and was a member of a dart league where he won many awards and trophies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; a sister and a daughter-in-law, JoEllen Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Dora Lorene Jones of Fort Smith; a son Harold Jones of Fort Smith; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and John Drosopoulas of Fort Smith; a sister, Ila May King of Nixa, Missouri; a brother and sister-in-law, Winfred and Katsy Jones of Scranton and two granddaughters, Tearany and Maddie.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Dublin Free Will Baptist Church near Scranton with Rev. Jeff Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Wares Chapel Cemetery near Scranton under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Rick Reed, Randy Reed, Lonnie Snow, Brian Snow, Jerry Snow and Bruce Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be John Drosopoulos, Jackie Jones and Jim Jones.

Lorene, Harold, and Brenda, we are so sorry to learn of Paul's passing, but we know he is with the Lord now and has been welcomed by all of his loved ones who have gone before him. He was a wonderful neighbor for so many years and he will be greatly missed. Our love and prayers during this time to all of you!
