Dorothy Maxine (Nanny) Rogers, age 89, of North Little Rock passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
Dorothy was born on November 13, 1926 in Batesville. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Cordelia Doremus; her husband, Thomas Rogers; two sisters, Bessie Lee Smartt, and Bulah Verneal Rudd; two brothers, Charles Doremus and Billy Joe Doremus; and one son, Danny Rogers.
She is survived by three children, Betty Jo Lybarger (Joe), of Scott; Virginia Collier (Jerry) of North Little Rock; and Tommy Rogers (Sandra) of North Little Rock. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the funeral home with Brother Mark Stripling officiating. Interment at Sand Springs Cemetery in Damascus at 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Darren Cummings, Chris Collier, Jonathan Rogers, Paul Needham, Ronnie Rudd, and Mark Pack.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Free Will Baptist Church, 2001 Parkway Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72118.
