Rooster was such a sweet man and a good friend. I met him through Linda and he and his mom took such good care of her as long as they could through her illness. We developed a friendship at that time. Prayers for the family. He was always so happy and upbeat, he was a joy to be around. Rooster, I know you are with God now, rest in peace old friend.

To Aunt Rose and Family...Charles was a dear cousin - double cousin. He and I often tried to convince people (when we were in our teens and later) that we were brothers - even identical twins. We almost convinced a few. Growing up - we Acre bunch always - I mean always - looked forward to our Michigan Cousins coming to spend the summer with us. Momma (Verle Stacks Acre) treated us all as her children. We had lots of fun together each summer. One summer we all learned to swim - Charles, Linda, Sissy, Russ and me. J.N. Fielder taught us to swim in the North Cadron Creek. What fun! I remember so well when Charles, Larry and Uncle Doug would all go golfing at Burns Park, after Charles moved to North Little Rock. What memories---Especially when momma would whip me, she knew you were involved in the mischief too, so she would "beat us both", just to be sure proper punishment was delivered. I am sure Sissy, Linda and Russ were all snickering as they heard us howling from the "beating". May God bless all our wonderful Stacks Family. Even when there is a loss, there is joy in sorrow. No more pain, discomfort or disease...no more tears. Blessings to you Aunt Rose; Charles, blessings to your children, grandchildren. other family, loved ones and friends. We will all be reunited one day - on the Heavenly Shore...Our Love and Prayers from the Evans & Verle Stacks Acre Family.
