Herman McCallister Foster, Jr. age 84, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday February 7, 2016 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Mr. Foster was born January 1, 1932 in Greensfork, Indiana to the late Herman M. Foster Sr. and Lou (Bartmess) Foster. He was a banker and United States Air Force veteran. As a member of Yellville United Methodist Church he was active in his church as well as banking, insurance, and real estate industries and other retail trades. Hew was a member of the Yellville Rotary Club and the Yellville City Council, and Chairman of the Board of First Service Bank in Yellville.

Herman is survived by his wife, Ann, of the home;
his daughter-in-law Vicki Foster of Summit, Arkansas;
and his sister Sandra Hudson of Conway, Arkansas.

Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his son Herman M ''David'' Foster, III;
his brother Robert Foster
and three sisters: Sue Fortner, Barbara Brown, and Leah Spilker.

Visitation for Herman Foster will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 6:00 8:00 pm at First United Methodist Church in Yellville.

Funeral service will Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church in Yellville with John Adams officiating.

Interment will follow at Layton Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Richard Christian, Phillip Herring, Tom Grumbles, Dr. Tom Spilker, Shawn lane, and Steve Spilker.

Honorary pallbearers will be ''The Good Old Boys''

Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas

Herman was everyone's friend. Qiuck-witted and gentle, he was always ready with a joke and a smile.
He is already missed.
