Jesse Edward Kirby, age 92, of Mabelvale was escorted by angels into the arms of Jesus on February 6, 2016.
Mr. Kirby was born August 10, 1923, in Faulkner County, Arkansas; he was a Veteran of the Army Air Corps having served in WWII; and was a member of Village Creek Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife Madge Kirby and a sister Betty Starkey.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Mike and Bonnie Kirby of Mabelvale; a sister Etoyle Mouser of Pine Bluff; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Village Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Winiecki officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800..
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. Until 11:00 at Village Creek Baptist Church.
Mike and Bonnie, I am truly saddened to hear of your loss. I consider myself very fortunate to have known Mr. Kirby and he will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to you and all the family.
Mike, Bonnie and family, You are in our prayers. Ed was a wonderful, kind man and we loved him so much. We will miss him so much.
