Thomas ''Tommy'' Dale Henry, 57, of Marion, went to be with the Lord Sunday January 17, 2016. He was born November 1, 1958 in Searcy to Charles Aubrey and Sammie Lee Hoggard Henry. Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Charles Aubrey Henry and his grandparents, Pete Hoggard, J.J. Henry, Betty Estep Hoggard, and Minnie Burton Henry.
Tommy was of the Baptist faith and was employed with Fed-Ex as a truck driver for 20 years. He enjoyed computer games, riding four wheelers, mowing the yard and especially spending time with his loyal companion, his Pomeranian, ''Baby Girl''. Tommy also enjoyed going on vacations and fine dining with his family. He had a great sense of humor and was known at times to be a prankster. Tommy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Sammie Lee Hoggard Henry, brother, Ronnie Paul Henry (Misty), sister, Letha Michelle Henry, all of Mt. Vernon, son, Bruce Levi Henry (Julie) of Mt. Vernon, daughter, Tasha Renee Henry of Jacksonville, and grandson, Eli Mallett.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 23rd at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Marcus Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. David Cook and Bro. Kim Leach officiating. Burial will follow at Hawthicket Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Olan McDonald, Timothy McDonald, Clint Butler, Allen Henry, Kim Leach, Jesse Hoggard, Larry Loyd, and Sherman Kasper.
MR.HENRY YOU WERE SUCH A PLEASURE TO KNOW. BRUCE & FAMILY KNOW THAT GOD NEEDED HIS ANGEL HOME.I KNOW THE PAIN AND GRIEF FROM LOSING OUR DAD'S.BE STRONG IN YOUR FAITH AND THE PAIN WILL PASS. GOD,PLEASE BLESS THIS FAMILY IN THEIR HOUR OF NEED.AMEN..
