Betty Jean Wilmoth, of Benton, passed from this life December 14, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born December 5, 1932 in Saline County to Johnny Gilbert and Cathie Wheeler Smith. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Dewell Wilmoth, her parents, four brothers, one sister, one daughter, and two granddaughters.
She is survived by her four sons, Kenneth Wilmoth, Danny Wilmoth and wife, Debbie, Tommy Wilmoth, and Larry Wilmoth and wife Debbie all of Benton; three daughters, Delores Vaughn and husband, Mike, Barbara Johnson and husband, CJ all of Benton, and Linda Hope of Santa Fe, Texas; three sisters, Clara Chamblee and husband, Ernest of Benton, and Mary DeBoard and Thelma Skains of Texas; fifteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Bro. Bill Williams officiating.

My heart grew heavy when I heard of Betty's passing. She was a loving sweet lady and will be missed dearly.
