Louise Lynn, 98, of Batesville, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at a local nursing home.
She was born in Batesville on August 24, 1917, and was the daughter of Louis Nolan Cox and Olive Wilkins Cox. She retired from the Cadillac Division of General Motors as an administrative assistant in 1979 with 25 years of service.
After retirement Mrs. Lynn enjoyed taking bus tours of the United States and Canada.
She also liked to read and play board games. Mrs. Lynn volunteered for over 15 years at the White River Medical Center, where she accrued 7,354 hours of volunteer service, and was awarded special recognition for those hours of service.
Survivors include her son, James Kaneaster and his wife, Sue, of Empire, Michigan; grandchildren, Laura Pishkur and her husband, John, of Elmhurst, Illinois, and Mary Kaneaster of Chicago, Illinois; and great-grandchildren, Carson and Chloe Pishkur. She is also survived by a sister, Frances Tolle of Livonia, Michigan; and a brother-in-law, Louis Kealer of Batesville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Hail Kaneaster; her second husband, Ted Lynn and siblings Doris Kealer, Bill Cox, and Lynn Cox.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

It was a true joy to get to know Louise. She had such a sweet spirit about her and I am going to miss her. Thank you for that opportunity. I really enjoyed getting to know you guys over the years. I wish you the best.
