Steve Riley Stone, 80, of Plumerville passed from this life on November 3, 2015. He was born in McRae, AR on March 18, 1935 to the late Jeff David Stone and Alice Hanawalt Stone. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lee Stone.

Steve honorably served in the United States Army and Navy. He was a mechanic and retired after many years from Hixon Lumber.

He is survived by four sons, Steve Stone of Plumerville, David Stone of Ft. Dodge, IA, Harold Stone of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, and Thomas Stone of Iowa; a daughter, Alice Stone of Morrilton; three brothers, Donald Stone, William Stone, and Jeff David Stone; and seven grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Union Hill Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, AR.
