Josephine ''Joy'' Sayson Radan Strickland, 50 was born March 10, 1965 in Jagbuaya Tuburan Cebu, Philippines to Teodoro Gabilan Radan Sr. and Purita Sayson Radan. On October 18, 2015 Joy left this life to be with her Heavenly Father; Josephine was at peace and among family when she entered into eternal rest.

Joy was just as her name describes her, a caring, loving and faithful woman of God who brought an abundance of smiles to everyone around her. Her soul was so kind and her heart so true. Joy loved the Lord with her whole heart and spent her days praising Him and living for the purpose He had for her, Joy lived her life to the fullest. She had many passions and loves, of these things her late husband Jack was her joy, she loved him dearly and we know that she longed to join him, they were definite soul mates.

Joy and Jack began their journey in the Philippines where they met and later moved to Jack's home state of Arkansas, while living here in Arkansas the two of them spent time gardening and traveling and enjoying their grandchildren. While employed with Blackhawk Molding in Mayflower, Arkansas she made many friends and touched many lives.

Joy is preceded in death by her husband Jackie Ray Strickland Sr. and leaves behind her Mother and Father Teodoro and Purita Radan, her brothers; Renato and wife Nena, Nelson and wife Gingging, Alexander and wife Marybell, Roel and wife Mila, Teodoro Jr. (John) and wife Iza, Johnathan and wife Lyn, Mailyn and Raymond Casino. Her nieces and nephews Mary Ann, Marybell, Janjan, Langging, Jenelyn, Grace, Ethyl, John Mark, Stephen Josh, Crystal Jade, Maize, Samantha, Joey Ray, Raiden, John Carlo, all of Cebu, Philippines. She also leaves behind her Step-Son Jackie Ray Strickland Jr. and wife Paula Strickland of Conway. Three grandchildren Tiffany Ussery and husband Quintone, Carla Halterman, Kayla Curl and husband Doug. Eight great-grandchildren; Dominic, A'niyah, Isaiah Ussery, Gaige, Elijah Halterman, Kailynn, Clayton and Olivia Curl. Her brother in law Ike Strickland and wife Sue and their family as well as her LDS family. Joy leaves behind a host of other friends and family that she held so dear.

Visitation will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 6:00-8:00p.m. Funeral services Saturday October 24, 2015 at The Church of Latter Day Saints off Dave Ward Dr. in Conway, AR services to begin at 10:00a.m. Followed by graveside service at Pine Mountain Cemetery in Bee Branch, AR.
