Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Keller Beene, born July 31, 1935 in England, AR, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents John Thomas and Mildred Bryant Dougan of North Little Rock, AR, brother Johnny Bo Dougan of North Little Rock, AR, her late husband Marion George "Buddy" Keller, Sr., son Marion George "Ron" Keller, Jr. and grandson Richard "Ray" West, Jr.

She is survived by her husband LT Beene, of Hot Springs, AR, her daughters Jerri Keller Myers (Chuck) of Memphis, TN and Danita "Dee" Keller West (Richard) of Marion, AR, son Scot Keller, of Forrest City, AR, step daughters Lonnie Beene Burch (Barry) of Searcy, AR and Bundy Beene Hickey (Mark) of Wynne, AR, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Liz was married to her late husband Buddy for 47 years, and has been married to her late life love LT for 11 years. They both have a love for the water and chose to enjoy sunsets together at their home on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs. In her earlier years, Liz was a full time mother and housewife raising four children. She was very active in the PTA and was instrumental, along with a friend, in getting a free lunch program started in the Hughes, AR schools. Liz was a long time member at First Baptist Church, Hughes and choir director for several years. She also started and co-owned Keller Chemical Agri Business, opened and managed Best Western Inn in Alabama and opened and owned the Hound Dog Cafe next to Graceland in Memphis. Liz was an avid vegetable gardener, grew beautiful roses and African violets, and loved the sun and beach along with her many children, grands and greats! Liz enjoyed staying in touch with friends and family through emails and Facebook and will be sorely missed by all.
