Claudie Glen Gilley, age 60, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Glen was born May 20, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri to Jack and Evelyn (Kellem) Gilley. A lifetime resident of Marion County, Glen was a 1973 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School. He was a businessman in agriculture and transportation.

Glen is survived by his mother, Evelyn Gilley, of Yellville;

his wife, Heather, of the home;

four daughters: Kelley and her husband, Kyle, of Harrison, Arkansas;
Julie and her husband, Ron of Valley Springs, Arkansas;
Jenifer of Lake Grove, New York;
Katrina and her husband, Jay, of Waco, Texas;

two sisters: Mary Lou Tetrick and her husband, Mike, of Snow, Arkansas;
Brenda Riddle and her husband, Hank, of Peel, Arkansas;

two brothers: David Gilley and his wife, Cassie;
and Randy Gilley and his wife, Kim; all of Yellville, Arkansas;

one granddaughter, Avery Grace of Harrison;

numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.

Glen was preceded in death by his father, Jack Gilley.

Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville, Arkansas.

Interment will follow at Nanny Cemetery near Yellville.

Pallbearers will be Bill Putnam, Chester Lewis, Donald Yocham, Lester Evans, Pete Jones, Skylar Gibson, Steve Gentry, and Travis Doshier.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Moore, all his employees and friends of Commercial Express-Couriers, and NAPA crew.

Glen was loved by many and all that knew him. His generosity and friendship were limitless. Family and friends near and far were his number one priority. He walked in the spirit of leadership, teaching, learning, sharing, and caring with an immovable moral compass. He loved to work hard and loved to play hard. Glen was a man of old fashion convictions and a thirst for new knowledge. We all knew and loved his smile.
