With a heavy heart, I am so sadden by your loss. But when I think of you, I have a huge smile on my face and laugh out loud. I spent many nights on the back of your tailgate, on a back road or pulling you out of a ditch in the middle of night. You were a fun, go with the flow, live life in the moment kind of guy. Everyone loved you!! As you are being laid to rest, you will be missed by all. Fly high by friend and keep putting a smile on everyone's face.

Revalation 21:3,4 says "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Janice, Pat, Danny and other family members our condolences are with each of you. My heart hurts for you all. To lose a family member is so hard, but Johnny is no longer in pain, well, walking on streets of gold and looking down on each of you with such pride and smiles. I did not really know him, but he was at the beauty shop the last couple times I went and I just so enjoyed him. He did not appear to meet a stranger. Jan you been around a many year and I do love ya, and if I can do anything please do not hesitate to let me know.

My prayers are with the family. I will miss seeing John. He always had a positive attitude and always said he was doing great, even when I knew he wasn't feeling so good. He was truly a special person and I know that he really is feeling great now in the presence of Jesus.

You'll always be in my heart. We had some really wonderful times together. Gonna miss that smile, laugh, and handsome face of yours so much. You were a very rare gem indeed. Could always make me laugh and smile, that smile of yours could light up a dark room. Sorry I wasn't there to see you or to say goodbye but I'm so glad we got to laugh and talk about the good ol days we had before you said goodbye to this world. That gave me some peace. You earned those wings sweetheart and I know your flying high! May God bless your sister and watch over her and her boys. Till we meet again. Kisses to heaven for you!

It's hard to find the words that could express appropriately how special Johnny was to us. He was a great friend to Hershell. He will be missed - his smile, the sound of his voice, and his laughter. Kayli grew up knowing "JD" and she always loved him. Prayers and hugs to all of his family and friends.
