Winnie Fae Payne, 89, of Bee Branch, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. She was born June 30, 1926 in Morganton, Arkansas to the late Joel and Sarah (Cullum) Linn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 71 years, Johnnie Alvin Payne, six brothers; Chester, Lester, Gussie, Rex, Odes and Garner, two sisters; Mae and Cloie and an infant daughter born on May 15, 1946.

Winnie leaves behind one son, Roger Dale Payne and wife Bonnie of Bee Branch, Arkansas; three grandsons, Dan and Christy Payne of Bee Branch, Arkansas, Bob and Ann Payne of Vilonia, Arkansas, and Brett and Krystal Payne of Heber Springs, Arkansas; eight great grandchildren, Catey, Emily, Mary Faye, Branden, Andrew, Bethany, Jacob and Kaylee, and a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors.

Pallbearers: Branden Payne, Andrew Payne, Jim Linn, James Linn, Calvin Hill and Carl Thomason.

Honorary Pallbearer: Jacob Payne.

Visitation will be 10:00am and Funeral Service will be 11:00am Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Mount Zion General Baptist Church Bee Branch, Arkansas with Pastor Dan Payne and Grandson Bob Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Colony Cemetery.

My mother, Billie Linn Lowery, was Winnie's first cousin. I always enjoyed seeing Winnie at the Linn Reunions. She was a very sweet person, and I am going to miss her. I send my sincerest condolences to you, Roger and family.
