Roy Allen Bloodworth of Crawfordsville, Arkansas passed away at his home on September 30, 2015, he was 84.
He was a lifelong farmer, a member of Shell Lake Baptist Church where he severed as a deacon.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joe Tom and Allie Bloodworth.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years JoAnn Bloodworth: 3 sons, Dennis Bloodworth of Memphis, Robert Bloodworth (Glenda) of Crawfordsville AR, and Sandy Bloodworth of Crawfordsville AR, 2 brothers: Joe Bloodworth of Crawfordsville AR, and Ralph Bloodworth of Southaven, Mississippi, and 2 sisters, Lorene Womack of Lebanon TN, and Louise Quinn of Crawfordsville AR. He has 5 grandchildren, Robbie Bloodworth (Trisha) of Marion AR, Dawn Hannah (Mark) of Arlington TN, Chad Bloodworth (Crystal) of Memphis TN, Christian Bloodworth and Aaron Bloodworth both of Crawfordsville, AR. He also has 2 great-grandchildren McClain and Anderson Bloodworth of Marion AR along with his beloved dog, Max.
Any memorials may be made in his honor to Shell Lake Baptist Church and the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 2, 2015, from 6-8PM at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Services will be on Saturday October 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion AR.
Mrs. Joann, we are so sorry for your loss. A blessed homecoming for sure, but I will miss Mr. Roy's smile and fondly remember every time I was lucky enough to hear him play. Praying for your family's peace.
