Laura L. McCollum McNaughton, 44, of Vilonia, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 23, 2015. She was born Sunday, December 6, 1970, in Conway, AR, to the late Joe Osburn and Betty Lou McCollum. Laura was also preceded in death by her brother, Billy Cecil McCollum.
Laura filled every room with sunshine and love, and never met a stranger in her life: her outgoing personality, big heart, and zest for life warmed the hearts of everyone she knew. Laura worked passionately as a makeup artist, and consistently won top accolades for her sales and management skills working with top brands Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, and Clinique. Friends and family recognized Laura's homes by their immaculate décor and welcoming, familiar aroma, a reflection of her love for home decorating and fashion. Laura will be missed by her favorite companions, her cats Khloe and Kricket. Laura was loved unconditionally by her husband Johnny and her son Kameron, who was the light of her life.
Laura is survived by her husband, Johnny Samuel McNaughton, of Vilonia, AR, one son, Kameron Isaac Fox of Bryant, AR, her brothers Joe Donald McCollum (Louise) of Conway, sister in law Diana Kay McCollum of Conway, AR, Kenny ''Pup'' McCollum (Jill) of Greenbrier, AR, sister in law Melanie J. Worm McCollum, mother in law Connie Sue McNaughton of Tracy, CA, father in law Daniel Wise McNaughton, Jr. (Barbara) of Vilonia, AR, brothers in law Robert Steven McNaughton (Tina) of Modesto, CA, Daniel Wise McNaughton III (Melody) of Dublin, CA, sister in law Kimberley Marie Doyle (Terry) of Danville, CA, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26 at LifeSong Baptist Church, with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Joe McCollum, James Mann, Jon Mann, Cody Patterson, Grant Nichols, Byron Wright. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
In addition to flowers, the family asks for donations to support Laura's son. Checks should be made out to The Kameron Fox Education Fund and may be deposited at Bank of the Ozarks, Conway, or mailed to Kenny and Jill McCollum at 22 East Cadron Ridge Road, Greenbrier, AR 72058.

Laura and I have had a special bond every since we met at Pier One. Laura had a way of making everyone feel special. Her smile and laugh was infectious. I was honored when she would call me her sister. I was glad I could be there to lend an ear and a shoulder to cry on when she lost her mother. I'm sure Laura is resting peacefully with her mother now. Laura holds a special place in my heart and she will be missed dearly.
