George E. Riddle passed away Sept. 17 George was born September 19, 1943 in Batesville, Ar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Vaughnie (Bill) Meriwether Riddle. George is survived by his children, Lane Riddle and Lee Teed; brothers, Robert Riddle of Fairfield Bay and Jimmy Riddle of Searcy, a sister, Sara Riddle of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Madison Young, Marlee Young, Emily Teed, Catherine Teed, Brooke Leonard and Colton Riddle.
George graduated from Searcy High School in the class of 1961. He was the owner of Riddle Sheet Metal in Searcy for over 40 years. George was a member of the First Christian Church, the Searcy Masonic Lodge, The Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, The Scimitar Temple Shrine Club and served as Exalted Ruler of the Searcy Elks Lodge.
George enjoyed hunting, being on his farm in Cleburne County and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
The family gives thanks for all the support we have received during this difficult journey. A special thanks to Hospice and Searcy Health Care for all you did for George and the family during his last days.

Visitation will be Monday, September 21, at 1 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2p.m. at Roller Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy.

Sorry to hear about george. My prayers r with u
I have many fond memories of Mr. George at the farm during my teenage years. He was such a kind and funny man. I am honored to have been among those helping to care for him during his last days. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family for comfort.
