Lenny/Della and family,

I was sadden to hear the read of Frankie's passing. Growing up he was one of my heroes. Always interested in what was happening in our growing up world and easy to laugh. To me he was as big as the sky and kind as a kitten.

Della and Frankie always welcomed me in their home as if I were kin (Pike Avenue and Ranch Estates).

Frankie taught me how to eat cheese dip by adding a touch of hot sauce added at Island X. (It was the first restaurant I'd ever been in. By the way, I still eat cheese dip like Frankie instructed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the both of you and your family. Especially you, Lenny, my life long friend.

We lost a good man.

When I was a little girl we moved to Arkansas and I missed the beach. My mothers sister and her husband bought property at Greer's Ferry and we were invited up for a visit. I loved it up there with Uncle Frankie and spent many weekends there. He took me on boat rides, swimming and to the landing. I changed his name to "Uncle Funcle " because he was my "fun uncle". Growing up you move away from people in distance but not in though and although I have not seen him in a while I will miss him and the fond memories of childhood growing up with my fun uncle.
