Gladys Louise Fowler, 84, of North Little Rock, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 1, 2015. She was born in Des Arc, AR to the late William Arthur and Addie Gladys Smith Heavner.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Joe B. McAllister and Morgan Fowler; four brothers: Jesse Heavner, Herschell Heavner, Ralph Heavner and William ''Dub'' Arthur Heavner, Jr.; and a sister Barbara Jean Bryant.
Gladys was a long time member of the First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Gail Mayall (Ronnie), Gary McAllister, and Terry McAllister (Patti); and her siblings, Ailene Tolar, Brence Heavner, Ed Heavner, Mary Sprinkle, Joyce Sprinkle, Larry Heavner and Bobby Heavner; grandchildren, Jodie Martucci, Jenny Bishop (Dennis), Jana Long, Joseph Long, Jaime Long, and Hunter Mayall; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 4, 2015 at First Assembly of God, 4501 Burrow Dr., North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-758-8553). The family will receive friends at 12:30 P.M., prior to the services at the church. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Assembly of God Church.
This Earth has lost a bright light and a beautiful lady. My sympathy and prayers go out to all the family.
