Wendelene E. Smith, 80, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born March 16, 1935 in Malvern to the late Wendell and Pauline Buck Efird. She was very devoted to her family and church. She also loved to travel.
She is survived by two sons Billy J. Smith, Jr. ''Jerry'' of Conway and Michael R. Smith (Kristy) of Clinton; daughter Cherie Flowers (Shawn) of Conway; six grandchildren Billy J. Smith, III., Ashley D. Jones, Angel Thomas, Amber Smith, Mackenzie Flowers and Brady Flowers; three great-grandchildren Harley Jo Jones, Billy J. Smith IV., Eva Jane Jones and Pesephone Thomas; two sisters Louella Gilchrist (Quinnie) of Mt. Home and Sharon Walters (Bill) of Malvern and brother Bruce Efird (Susan) of Mena.
She is preceded in death by her husband Billy J. Smith, Sr.; grandson Kenny Smith and sister Christine Owen.
Memorial service will be 12:00 noon Saturday, September 05, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Conway with Dr. Dale Wicker officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Friday, September 04, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
