My sincerest sympathy go out to Bill's family. I went to school with Bill and had many good times with him in DL and continuing on in the cities. Bill and I were roommates there and attended many North Star games with him, we also bowled together. When you were with him you Never knew what was going to happen but you knew it was going to be exciting. I have many memories of our times together, most of them legal.
I was in DL this past weekend and my wife and I drove by the lake where Bill lived not knowing at that time of Bill's passing."wild Bill" you will be missed.

I cannot ever remember Bill not having a smile on his face, nor speaking an unkind word. We lost my brother Dick several years ago, maybe they will meet again now.

Tye and I can not express how deeply sorry we are to hear of Bill's passing. We had the privilege to call Bill our friend... He lit up the room with his smile and laughter. Bill was a rare individual in that he seemed to always have time to care for others. He was so kind and generous and he helped me to deal with the recent loss of my mother as well. It won't be the same here at work without seeing him walking around the neighborhood spreading his smile and obvious joy.

Although "one of a kind" is overused, it is a great description of Bill. He loved life and made sure those around him were enjoying it with him. He will be missed but certainly not forgotten. I think his favorite hat "LUCKY" is how I feel for having met Bill and have him as a friend for the past 28 years. Many others were lucky as well.
