Bruce K. Ramey, 81, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Ramey was born September 6, 1933 at Wheatley, Arkansas to the late Marshall Ramey and Christine Ramey Bunker. He was a veteran and worked for a chemical company as a mixer.
Mr. Ramey is survived by his wife, Tommie Winkle Ramey; daughter, Diana Ramey; daughter-in-law, Monica King; two grandchildren, Alex King and Kristen King; great-grandchild, Chase King; sister, Patsy Baker; three brothers, Marshall Ramey, Bobby Bunker, and Billy Bunker; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Ramey, mother, Christine Bunker; step-father, Clayburne Bunker; step-mother, Helen Ramey; and son, Bruce Ramey, Jr.
Funeral services for Bruce K. Ramey will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the West Helena Baptist Church in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Batesville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Brent Harris, Charles Randall, Jason Jaco, Laymon Piercy, Blake Goodson, Wesley Bryan, and Robert Goodson.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena (870) 572-2571.
He will be truly missed! He was the Best Grandpa one could ask for! So loving and caring!! Miss you Grandpa..
