Donna Jean Anderson, age 74, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, in Harrison. She was born October 17, 1940, in Omaha, Arkansas, the daughter of Roy L. and Mabel (Whitaker) Speer. She was preceded by in death by her parents; two nephews; and one niece.
Donna was a graduate of Omaha High School. She worked as a hair stylist at Lema's Salon and Sally's Beauty Parlor before her retirement. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Donna is survived by her three daughters and son-in-law, Tracy and Jeff Davis of Harrison, Gayla Anderson Spence of Cabot, Arkansas and Tena Anderson Wood of Granbury, Texas; two brothers and sister-in-law, Bill and Helen Speer of Harrison and J.T. Speer of Harrison; her grandchildren, Kali Davis (Jake) Miller, Tyler (Mallory) Davis, Taylor Spence, Mackenzie Spence, Blake (Karen) Scott and Morgan Scott; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial graveside service was Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Maplewood Cemetery, with Freddy Blevins officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Davis, Taylor Spence, Jeff Davis, Blake Scott, Jake Miller, Greg Speer, Bill Speer, Jr. and Donna's childhood friend, Willadene Cheek.
