Mrs. Myrtle Lodora Whitaker, 84, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Mountain Home. She was born February 7, 1931 in Concord, North Carolina to George and Mae (Pressley) Whitaker.

Mrs. Whitaker will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Whitaker is survived by two children; Robert Branscomb (Debbie) of Lakeview, Arkansas and Karen McDaniel (Wayne) of Omaha, Nebraska, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one sister, Carolyn Decker (Hal) of Boonville, Indiana, three brothers, Lewis Whitaker of Twenty-Nine Palms, California, Jerald Whitaker of Coos Bay, Oregon, and Joe Whitaker of Edinburg, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, and one great-grandchild.

Interment will be in Private.
