James C. (JC) Horton, age 72, of Snowball, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Highland Court Rehab & Nursing Facility in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born August 21, 1942 in Snowball to parents Lotis and Helen (Watkins) Horton.
J.C. loved hunting and fishing. He was presently serving as Constable of Snowball. He had worked many years for the Searcy County Road Department as a truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Deon.
Survivors include: one son, Tom House of Marshall; one daughter: Shirley Switzer of Marshall; two brothers: Johnny and wife Anna Horton, and Lotis Jr. and wife Brenda Horton, all of Snowball; six grandchildren; and many relatives and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 10, 2015 at Snowball Cemetery.
Bro Dorphus Smithson and Bro Shane Horton will be officiating. There will not be a visitation service.
Pall bearers will be: Johnny Horton, Lotis Jr. Horton, Thomas House, Marvin Switzer, Jason Switzer and Ronnie McDaniel.
