We attended David O'Dodd Elementary School together in the 1940's. L.B was the catcher on our slow pitch softball team. His brother G. E. was the pitcher. I've often wondered what became of them. Care to discuss phone number 501-374-9817.

Budd's daughter Jaynee is my best friend. The first time we met Budd & Carol was at his home in Arkansas. We were on vacation and stopped to see them. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel at home. We enjoyed our visit with them so much that we stopped on the way home also. We loved his stories and sense of humor. I will miss the phone calls and how he always made me laugh. We will also cherish the memory of his 83rd birthday in California. We love him and will miss him very much.

Doesn't seem real that your gone. You meant so much to me. You helped shape me into the man I am today. My first job washing cars at your car lot, taught me how to fish and shoot trap. You were always there for your family. All the memories I will cherish forever.

Papa I love you and miss you.

I met Bud at the Senior Center. He was always so cheerful and friendly. One day I patted him on his head, because he was wearing a cap with artificial spiked hair. This became a daily routine. Then one day when I was making the announcements, he walked up to the stage and he handed me a sack. Inside was a cap almost like his which he gave to me. We became buddies, and I am so sorry that we will not be seeing him at the Center.

Although I've loved my Papa always it wasn't til my early 30's that I would really begin to appreciate you & all you had done for me with tough love, hard work ethic & life lessons you taught me over the years. I am so thankful for the time Mariyah & I got to spend with you & Carol last year, We have so many fond memories of our visit & were reminded how fun loving & good hearted you could be. We will miss your voice & the way only You could tell a story. I love You & will think of you often.

We are so sorry to hear that Buddy has passed. I've often thought about you all and wondered where you all were. I ran into Kathy at a wedding up in Oregon many years ago (1980 I think) but I've lost everything with dates and numbers. I remember Buddy as a good ol' boy and he gave me a ride on his motorcycle once when I was just a kid and we all (both families) went to Disneyland together. It was always fun when we got together. GOD bless you all and our prayers are with you at this sad time.

It is with sadness and nostalgia that I write this goodbye to Uncle Buddy, the last Ward sibling. They were a unique group of brothers and sisters to say the least. Most of my memories are from when we were children. Our Mother, Estelle (Pat) thought the world of her baby brother. My heartfelt condolences go out to Kathy, Jayne and families and to Miss Carol.
