I met Jesse when I worked serving food at Holly's Country Cookin. He was one of the nicest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. I've only seen him a few times since I left Holly's but he always greeted me with a big smile and a hug. He was a wonderful man and he will be sorely missed. My prayers for his family.

Mike and Family,

So sorry to hear about yoru dad passing. I got my first shot gun from Jesse atHeigel Hardware. I remember having a problem with the ejector and my dad told me just to take it to Jesse and sure enough he fixed it standing in the store with a pocket knife. Wonderful man.

Jesse was such a wonderful "character". He liked to come across as an ol' codger but had a heart of gold.; especially where kids were concerned. I'll never forget how friendly and good he was to Don and me when we first moved to Conway. Jesse, you will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family today.

Jesse had a tradition of slipping a piece of candy back to my young son J.D. every Sunday morning before preachin'. This went on for years. He was a softie on the inside. When I told J.D. that he had died, he was sad. We will miss him.

Mark and Tracy,
I am so sorry to hear of Jesse's passing. He was one of the good guys. And he left a legacy of good guys and girls behind. I know he was always proud of you, Mike, Monte, and Missy and all those grandkids. I'll be praying for you all in the coming days and asking God to provide strength and comfort as well as an everlasting peace of knowing that your separation from him is only temporary. Mark, I remember that you and Tracy were at our house the moment I found out that my own dad had passed away and I'll never forget how you both stepped up and helped everything become better. I wish I could be there for you now, but I am with you in thought. Please let me know if you need anything.
