Samantha Amedeo, age 67, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas;

Samantha was born September 7, 1947 in Winsted, Connecticut to the late James Edgar and Betty Louise (McLean) Grove. She had been employed in the restaurant business in various capacities and had lived in the area since 1981, coming here from Colorado. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Yellville, Arkansas and had recently been confirmed and taken the name Mary Magdalene. Samantha was a devoted Democrat. She loved Elvis Presley and her cats.

Samantha is survived by her sister Pamela ''Emma'' Travis of Yellville;

and two nephews: Patrick Travis and Town Travis; and many cats.

Mrs. Amedeo was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Lyndon.
