I had the pleasure of being in her home ec class. I truly believe she felt sorry for my lack of sewing skills and, sadly, I was not teachable. I covered buttons and ripped seams for other students after my 1st and only garment was messed up (unless you wanted to walk around with one pocket placed backwards). She gave me an A.

My condolences to the Sarah and all the Pew family.

Dear Family of Mrs. Pew,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I was lucky to be one of her students back in the 70's who was given my love of cooking & sewing from her while at Conway Schools.

After all these years, she always remembered me when I saw her in town. Mrs. Pew had a way of making each of us feel special. I am blessed to have known her and she will be greatly missed.

May God Bless You with loving memories of all the wonderful times you had with her and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven!

Mr. Pew, Bentley & Sarah,
As I look at Mrs. Pew's picture I can hear her gentle southern voice which I will never forget. I also rememeber this voice being directed to us kids on Colonial Dr on many days when we were having probably a little to much fun. This never stopped her from providing lemonade & something to eat.

Lou Ann Pew was a GREAT mother, grandmother, wife, teahcer & role model to many of us!
