Vera Ann Taylor, 76, of Bigelow, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 6, 2015. She was born Tuesday, November 1, 1938 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Martin Slagle and Betty Jo Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Debbie Cagle, Granddaughter, River Layne Roberts, sister, Sandra Kay Atwood. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Clifford Taylor, sons, Jack Bradley Gosnell (Carla) of Bigelow, Arkansas, Russell Dale Gosnell (Tara) of Bigelow, Arkansas, daughters, Glenda Johnston, of Little Rock, Arkansas, Trudy Armstrong (Spike) of Searcy, Arkansas, brother, Marlin Slagle, of Lubbock, Texas, thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Vera was very devoted to her family whom she loved very much. She cherished the time she spent with her family. She was also a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. Vera was a homemaker who loved sewing and reading. Vera was a long time member of Wye Mountain Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, (501) 224-8300 with Brother Dusty Day officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 8 at the Funeral Home. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
The family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Your mom was always so nice to me. She made me feel like I was apart of your family. As a child, I remember spending time with her. She always had a smile on her face and happy. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be dearly missed by many. May God bring you peace during this time.
