Bill Ward, 80, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at his residence. He was born November 11, 1934, in Hannibal, MO, to John Benjamin Ward and Maxine Sampson Ward. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Cornerstone United Methodist Church. Mr. Ward was also in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Betty Puckett Ward; daughter, Beverly (Steve) Frederick of Jackson, MS.; grandchildren, Steven (Allison) Frederick, Anna (Evan) Frederick Bigby, Ben Frederick and Abigail Frederick.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00 at Lambert Memorial Gardens in Lambert, MS. Officiating was Rev. Steve Frederick. Pallbearers were Steven Frederick, Ben Frederick, Evan Bigby, Loyall Grantham and Wade Puckett.
Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.
