David Harris

of West Memphis, AR

May 1, 1967 - June 30, 2015

David Harris, 48, of West Memphis, passed away June 30, 2015 at home. David was born May 1, 1967 to Frank and Joann Harris, who precede him in death. A native of West Memphis, David traveled abroad for many years living life to the fullest before coming home to end his battle. He had many occupations while he traveled, including being a flight attendant, fueling airplanes and even managing a cowboy boot store, as well as a pharmacy. David was known to his family and friends as the ''good time guy''. He enjoyed the night life and had a passion for music. He could often be found singing and playing the keyboard or guitar as he had a gift for captivating an audience. All who knew him loved him.
In the last weeks of his life he was surrounded by his family. David is survived by two sisters, Lynn Inman and husband, Von Inman, Betty Chambers and husband, Mark Chambers, along with two brothers, Jimmy Byars and wife Joann Byars, and Roy Graham. He is also survived by five nieces, Cindy Adams, Tricia Johansen, Debbie Wilson, Jennifer Rose and Amy Osteen, and six nephews, Christopher Byars, Kenneth Harris, Robert Chambers, Darryl Chambers, Lamar Chambers and Matthew Chambers along with a multitude of great nieces and nephews.
David's last wishes were that he shall be cremated, therefore there will not be a formal funeral service. There will, however, be a memorial party held at the home of his niece. The date and time will be forthcoming. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made, in David's name, to Friends for Life at their website, friendsforlifecorp.org.

Nothing you confess could make me love you less......I'll stand by you.

I quoted this from the song by the Pretenders.

I love you and miss you, David.
