James D. Moore ''Jim'', 85, of Conway, AR, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 17 surrounded by his family. He was born in Charleston, SC on February 09, 1930 to Ruby and Arthur Murray. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret Ann Ussery-Moore. Jim is best known to family and friends as ''GranGran'' and was an avid Razorback fan who enjoyed following the HOGS to ballgames, tournaments, and watching them on TV.
''GranGran'' lived to spend time with his family.
He leaves behind two sons, David Moore, Jr (Kathy Aska-Moore) of Conway and Ken Moore (Kimberly Lambert-Moore) of Bryant. Four granddaughters were the highlight of his life- Jamie Renee Moore, Kimberly Ann Justice, Mackenzie Nicole Moore, and Taylor Leigh Moore.
Funeral Service will be 10:00am Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Tom New officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
We miss James at bingo. So sorry for your loss but know he is at peace. May peace be with all his family and friends.
James was always so friendly and a joy to have living here! His Bingo skills and sense of humor will not be forgotten and his collection of bobble head prizes that adorned his patio table will be missed.

David, Kate, Ken. Kimberly and girls, I cannot express to you how much I will miss my long talks with Jim at our family gatherings. He was a delight. and I'm so thankful that the good Lord gave me the opportunity to become his friend and extended family member. As always, you are all in my thoughts and prayers as are Jim and Margaret.

James and I would wave to each other when out on our porches and I will miss him. He was such a nice neighbor.
