Lois Turner Fritz, 96 of West Helena Arkansas and formerly of Springhill LA., passed away Sunday June 7, 2015. Lois was born November 10, 1918 to Sidney Turner and Zena Regan Turner.
Lois graduated from Minden High School in 1935. She graduated from State Normal College (presently Northwestern State University) in Natchitoches, LA in 1939.
She married her high school sweetheart, James, on December 24, 1939 in Minden, LA. They made their home in Springhill, LA.
Lois was a school teacher, lab technician, photographer and homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church of West Helena and Central Baptist Church of Springhill LA., the Grand Prairie Chapter of the Daughters of The American Revolution and one of the founders of SPARC Life Services in Sarepta, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Franklin Fritz; sons, James ''Jimmie'' Fritz Jr., and Sidney Fritz; sister, Gladys Turner.
Survived by daughter, Joanne McMickle (John) of West Helena, AR., grandson, James Wesson; sister, Ruth Stinnett of Minden LA., and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Fritz will be Monday evening June 8, 2015 from 5-8:00p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00p.m. Thursday June 11, 2015 at Central Baptist Church in Springhill LA. Visitation in Louisiana will be Wednesday evening June 10, 2015 from 5-8:00p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill LA., burial will be at Minden Cemetery in Minden LA.
Pallbearers will be John McMickle, James Wesson, Regan Stinnett, Don Fritz, Don Wesson, and Jerry Nash.
Family requests memorials be made to the Second Baptist Church of West Helena, Gideons, SPARC Life Services of Sarepta LA., or Central Baptist Church of Springhill LA.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Fritz passing too late to attend the visitaion, but my prayers are with you all. She was such a precious soul and I know you will miss her so much. What a comfort it is to know that she is waiting for us all in a place of perfect peace and beauty . It was a priviledge to care for her and get to know your sweet family.
