Christine McDaniel Farris went to be with the Lord, May 21, 2015. She was born November 23, 1946 to Mae Treat McDaniel and Kress McDaniel. She was employed as manager of Child Nutrition at the Little Rock School District for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, stepfather, Harry Tilly, brother, Ross McDaniel and a daughter Tammy Whitson. Christine is survived by her husband, Kermit Gower Farris II of 52 years; son, Kermit Gower Farris III and wife Paula; grandson, Anthony Boyette II, granddaughter, Racheal Farris, sister, Sally Tilly Treadwell, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015 at The Church of Rock Creek, 11500 W. 36th Street, Little Rock, AR. Graveside service will be at Farris Cemetery at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Stone County. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501) 224-8300.

Christine was always a light for those of us lucky enough to have known her. What a treasure !!!
Christine was an angel. We all looked forward to seeing her when she visited our home in Big Flat. She was always the same and we will forever remember her smile. She was a special lady and a wonderful cousin. Christine was a beautiful person inside and out. We will miss her and will continue to pray for Gower & Kermit & the grandchildren...all whom she loved very much.
Wonderful memories, of a beautiful lady, who lived life with a giving heart, grace and faith.
