I was surprised to hear the news about Jay passing away. It was definitely way before his time after his many years of service to the Church. I offer my condolences to you and your families and wish to send my sympathies. His memories that live in your hearts and the passing years will lessen the pain that you are feeling now. May God Bless. John Zappia

Unfortunately I will be out of town this weekend and unable to attend any of the services, but I wanted to just say that your dad/husband made such an impression on me during the Mystery Lunch we were paired with him and Janie. He was so personable, warm and gracious, and we (Kevin and I) left just having thoroughly enjoyed our time. I know you will miss him so, and I am so sorry about that. I'm not sure that time ever makes it better, but it is such a blessing to have the faith that you will be able to spend forever with him. May God bless you with his peace during this time.
