David Russell Knowles, 58, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. He was born in Greenville, SC to the late Richard Arthur and Betty Alice Cormier Knowles.
David retired as a TSGT from the USAF, also from John L. McClellan Memorial Hospital in Little Rock. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Christi Knowles, two daughters, Devon Webb (William) of North Little Rock and Shannon O. Knowles of Little Rock; a step-son, A1C William Lance Cole of Lajes Field, Azores; one grandson, Ethan Webb; his brother, Richard Arthur Knowles (Jan Murphy) of Berkley, CA; and a sister, Karen Knowles of Daytona Beach, FL and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400). A reception will follow at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to David Knowles memorial fund at any Branch of Centennial Bank.
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Please know I do care and lift you up to God's hands. We learn that life is so precious and live it to the fullest every chance we can as we never know what is ahead for us. Cherish all the memories and you made such a loving couple.

Christie, so sorry for your loss of David. He fought a long hard battle and I am so thankful you were able to be with him. We continue to keep you and in your family in our thoughts and prayers. I know my cousin Chrissy met him at the gate. She had the same brain tumor as David. Love you and will see you soon.

Sorry to hear of your loss. David was a very special person with a great sense of humor. I worked with him for a few years at a computer store, thats where I know him from. Saw him once in a while and was always glad to see him. He will be missed.
