Maggie Mae Brown, 76, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Brown was born December 15, 1938 to Coleman Roscoe Wheeler, Sr. and Jenny Florine Richardson in Lambert, Mississippi.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Bobby Brown of the home; son, Dale Brown (Pam) of West Helena; three grandchildren Tray Brown (Amber) of Elaine, Arkansas, Carrie Webster (Brandon) of Marvell, Arkansas and Steven Spurlock of Poplar Grove, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Hunter Brown of Elaine, Bayley & Farah Webster of Marvell and Bryce Spurlock of Poplar Grove; three brothers J. J. Wheeler (Sherrie) of West Helena, Rabbit Wheeler of Canton, Mississippi and James W. Wheeler (Laurie) o Marion, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded by her parents, two brothers, Coleman RoscoeWheeler, Jr. and Johnny Wheeler, two sisters, Mary Helen Allen and Betty Adams.
Services will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at West Helena Baptist Church with Brother Steve Williams officiating, burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Roller-Citizens Chapel.
Memorials may be made to West Helena Baptist Church, 702 Plaza Street, West Helena, Arkansas 72390.
Roller-Citizens has charge of arrangements.
Calvin and I are so sorry to hear of Maggie's passing. I enjoyed becoming friends with Maggie during my children's school days. She was a hard worker in the school and loved helping anyway she could. I will continue praying for you all.
Bobby and Dale , so sorry to learn of Maggies death. It brought back memories of when we all lived in Cherrydale. All the children could play freely and everybody was a good neighbor.
May God be with you and with Maggie as she enters a much better place.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Maggie. She was such a sweet lady and I have fond memories of her from Marvell Academy. May God give you comfort during this difficult time.

I worked with Maggie at the sewing factory years ago and she was such a sweet person. I know she loved her family and she loved her boys Dale and then years later Tra. So sorry to her of your loss but just know there will be a reunion some day so be ready to meet her again, Praying for yall.
