Cheryl Anne Derry, age 74, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015, in Harrison. She was born November 4, 1940, in Hotchkiss, Colorado, the daughter of Arthur Ray and Izora Lavonne (Marshall) Myers. Along with her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Caleb Jackson and Lacy Jackson. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. She had been an owner/operator of a day care and was a homemaker.

Cheryl is survived by daughters, Rita Cole of Harrison, Deena Jackson and husband David, Kathy Cain and Ronda Fuentes and husband Rene; her sons, Bill Cain and wife Diane, Jim Cain, and Ray Derry and wife Lydia; and her sister, Pam Swanson and husband Don.

Cheryl is also survived by her grandchildren, Ernie DeJesus and wife Virginia Bates, Shaun Phillips, Christa LeBlanc, Nicholas Burnight and wife Crystal, Jason Clark, Charlie Huss, Don Huss, Anya Derry, Angela Derry, Curtis Buhrkuhl, Blane Fuentes and Kayla Fuentes; her great-grandchildren, Jeannie Cole, Nathaniel Ross, Savannah Ross, Natalie Phillips, Remington Huss, Josh Morris, Cindy Burnight, Eastyn Derry and Cameron Fuentes-Dillon; and a host of other family and friends.




Visitation was Friday, May 8, 2015, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Faith Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Arlis Thrasher officiating.

Interment was in Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bill Cain, Jim Cain, Ernie DeJѐsus, Shawn Phillips, Nicholas Burnight and Eric Westscott.

Honorary pallbearers were Don Swanson, Jim Brooks, Ray Derry, Hillcrest Nursing Home staff and Boone County Senior Adult Daycare Center.
