December 14, 1947 - April 28, 2015

Mr. John L. Tennant, age 67 of Flippin passed away Tuesday April 28, 2015 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born December 14, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Lawrence S. Tennant and Jane Daily Tennant. He married Linda Rucker in Mountain Home in 1975,

He graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School. He always kept up with his college fraternity brothers from Kappa Sigma XI Chapter. Mr. Tennant was a real estate attorney with licenses in Arkansas and Texas. His greatest passion was his rural home where he had built a bio dome to raise amazing produce. John loved fishing, golfing, friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Linda Tennant of Flippin; a daughter Terry (Dennis) Sajder of Mountain Home; 5 grandchildren: Whitney (Matthew) Blair, Andrew Ketchum, John Daniel Sajder, Ryan Sajder and Stacy Sajder; 5 great grandchildren: Tori Blair, Brice Blair, Lillian Blair, Jackson Blair and Annabelle Blair; a sister Susan Kartzke of New Orleans, LA and a brother Ralph Tennant of Clarksville, TN.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home with Bishop Sam Seamans officiating. Interment will be private.
