Uncle Roger was one of coolest men I ever knew! He always welcomed and loved my family like we were his own. I will never forget the memories I have of him, one specifically where he made me laugh so hard I cried..... Years ago, around the campfire at deer camp he rapped and danced to "Get Low" and had us all laughing. He was just an all around awesome man. Prayers and love to Aunt Helen, Cassie, Jeremy and Lee and the whole family.
Sue, I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Prayers are with you & your family.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to all the Hillis family. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. May God bless you and keep you in the palm of his hand.
Dear Helen and Family, I really hate this for you all. Roger was such a warm, happy guy. God put him on this earth to bring wonderful joy to all and he did! I talked to Mike Dickey and he mentioned seeing Roger at "Joey Day". He said that, as always, Roger was full of life and laughs. You have so many wonderful memories. Hold on to those and the love he gave to each one of you. The last kiss, hug, chuckle, and those pretty blue eyes full of joy of a loving family. It is hard and it will get even harder to endure this great loss. Ask God for guidance and peace and maybe, like I have, eventually you will get to see him in your dreams until our final day when you do get to sit by Gods side, along with Roger. Many prayers for all of you and, peace and calm will, one day, take up the painful space off hurt and loss. You are loved.
My best to the family during this time.
