Mrs. Virginia E. Cox, 86, of Searcy passed away March 30, 2015. She was born March 14, 1929 in Cave City, Arkansas to the late Raleigh and Della Simpson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry T. Cox, two brothers; Al (Biggie) Parrish and Eddie Simpson, a daughter, Deborah Marchant and a great-granddaughter, Tammy Hall.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Cox and wife Morgan of Romance, Arkansas; two daughters, Jan Hall and husband Ron of Pine River, Minnesota and Sarah Walker of Nisswa, Minnesota, nine grandchildren; Nathan Cox and wife Heather, Justin Cox and wife Skylar, Ronnie Hall and wife Veronica, Brandon Hall and wife Christine, Albert Wickmann, Ron Wickmann, Jennifer Walker, Jason Marchant and Jeremy Marchant, and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cox was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, sewing, working in her yard and sharing her Bible-based hope about the future with others. She will be remembered fondly by her loved ones for her energy and hearty work ethic, her kind and loving nature, her strong faith and her beautiful smile. Please join her family for a memorial service on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 4:00 in the afternoon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2732 Eastline Road, Searcy, Arkansas.
