J. Maxine Boyd, 85, of Batesville, died Monday at her home.
She was born in Dyce, Arkansas on October 1, 1929 and was the daughter of James Iverson Bennett and Mary Lou Alice Carter Bennett.
Maxine enjoyed flowers, bird watching and going to church.
Survivors include five sons, Elmer R. Loven of Dallas, TX, Donny G. Loven of Jonesboro, AR, Ernie P. Loven of Ravenden Springs, Jimmy A. Loven of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Freddie Loven of Guion; three daughters, Lauren E. Hughes of Batesville, Linda D. Loven of Imboden, and Delmer J. Cox of Cave City. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Louise Trussell of Cherokee Village.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Neil Boyd; a sister, Glenda M. Stephens; and a great-grandson, Kellen Avery Loven.
Pallbearers will be Charles Ealey, Richard Ealey, Adrian Ealey, Jimmy Loven, Scott Smith, and Woody Hughes. Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Wren Sr. and Robert Ealey.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at First Church with Bro. M. D. Parmley and Bro. Jerry Cochran. Music will be provided by Daniel Flanery and Annette Parmley.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.

I will miss you granny. You touched many hearts. Your great grandchildren say to you have fun granny just like you use to. My prayers are with the family and you are up watching over us granny. I love you.
