Dear Michelle and Family,

Mr. Max was a dandy! Laney and I gave him a card once with this bible verse, Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭7-8‬ NIV). He used to put all the cards that he got from people on his dining room table because he cherished his friends. Max was a dear friend to us. We will always be grateful to him. Our horse Ladybug has a place to rest there on his farm because he buried her for us. Thank you Max!

Love, Leslie and Laney

Max will be missed by everyone he knew and loved. He touched the hearts of many, especially mine. I am so thankful and honored that I had the privilege to accompany him to Washington DC on a special day. Without him and all the Veterans, we couldn't live the life we do. Thank you Max! Love you, Linda

My Dear friend, Mr. Max, will be missed deeply. He had a away of making everyone feel special. He touched so many lives.

To me he was a man who lead his life by example as he walked with Christ. He was a humble man who had forgiveness in his heart And a great love for his family.

When I think of you it will be with a smile in my heart and pictures in my head of you chasing the cattle out of the yard on your 4 wheeler, working on your airplane, poping wheelies on the tractor, going with our Hospice Grife Support group to Branson shows, and having your Bible close by.

I feel honored that he concider me as a friend. Maybe God will Give me some brownie points for Mr. Max being mine.
