Elton Gerald Bonds 77, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed from this life on March 19, 2015, after a short battle with colon cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otus and Nell Bonds, and was their only child.

I was very sorry to learn of Gerald's passing. One of my greatest memories was sitting at Warren Hensley's house with Gerald, playing tunes and singing, laughing and talking into the evening. Gerald was the best musician of us and as I was a mere freshman at CSVTS, I was in awe of his talent. My deepest sympathy for his family and he will remain in the memories of so many of us always.
So sorry to hear of Gerald's passing. Many happy memories of his great musical talent and playing together. I can still hear those sweet sounds never to be forgotten. A very special man.
Condolences to his family.

Dana and Jan,
I am so sorry to hear of Gerald's passing... There are no words that I can say to take the pain away you both are feeling. I was setting here tonight thinking of times I came to the Bonds home and could hear him fiddling on the back porch... good times and good memories and life seemed so much more simpler. I can't think of a time that I didn't run into him that he didn't smile or speak. His example will not be forgotten... May God grant you peace and comfort in the days ahead.
So sorry to learn of Gerald's passing.
With sincere sympathy and love to Dana & Jan.
