I was watching the Arkansas Ole miss football game today and I thought of Pat who I served with on the John R Craig from 1958 to 1961, so I looked him up on google and found his obituary. I would like his family to know that Pat was a great shipmate and friend as we spent many hours together operating the ship’s boilers. I always regretted we did not stay in touch after the navy. I would like to offer my condolences to his family and loves ones . Peace Pat , and may you be with Jesus.
Your shipmate Ken

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the loss of your loved one.In the scriptures Job 14:14,15 and John 5:28, God promises that he will resurrect our loved ones in the near future .I hope that Jehovah , the God of comfort grant you peace.
Sandy, I was so shocked to hear the sad news. Pat was such an amazing Christian man, full of fun and laughter. You two always seemed like the perfect couple. I never have been able to figure out how someone who enjoyed food as much as he did could stay so slim and trim! He had a passion for life and appreciation for every one of God's gifts, and he cherished you especially. I know he is rejoicing in heaven with our Lord, but he certainly will be missed until the day when we can join him. My love and prayers are with you, Sandy, and all of your family.
Mrs Sandy, my heart goes out to you. You have been in our thoughts and prayers all week. You two are a shining example of true love. Mr Pat looked at you as though you were the only woman alive. I will always think of the two of you together! I can see him in Heaven telling all the angels about YOU. I love you, my friend and will keep you in my prayers. What a wonderful Christian example Mr Pat is to the rest of us. Can't wait to see him in heaven. All my love....
Pat was such a fine man who loved God and those around him in a special way. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a kind word that just made you feel that everything would be ok. He'll be missed so much!
We were so sorry to learn of Pat's death. He will be missed by many. Sympathy to all of the family.
Matt and I are so sorry for your loss. Pat will be missed.
