Katie M. Andrews, age 83, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Andrews was born March 23, 1931 at Holcomb, Mississippi to the late J.D. Goodnight and the late Bertha Turner Goodnight. She was a member of West Helena Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William ''Bill'' Andrews; one son, William ''Bubba'' Andrews, Jr. of West Helena; one daughter, Gloria Montgomery (Ron) of Brinkley, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Rhonda Thornton (Monty), Drew Montgomery (Ashley) and Angela Grady (Lee); six great-grandchildren, Madison and Logan Grady, Makayla and Addison Montgomery and Cullin and Bridgette Thornton; two sisters, Dorothy Nelson and Patricia Smith, both of Richland, Mississippi; one brother, John D. Goodnight (Toni) of Jackson, Mississippi; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a special friend, Ginger Kimbrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Marion S. Goodnight and Harold Goodnight; and a sister, Shirley Berry.
The service for Katie Andrews will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015 at West Helena Baptist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Steve Williams will officiate.
Pallbearers are Joe King, John Hunter, John Norman Bryant, Drew Montgomery, Monty Thornton and Doug Andrews. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Webster, Robert Goodson, Claude Simpson, Brent Harris and Bob Kemmer.
Memorials may be made to West Helena Baptist Church.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to the loss of your loved one.In the scriptures Job 14:14,15 and John 5:28, God promises that he will resurrect our loved ones in the near future .I hope that Jehovah , the God of comfort grant you peace.

I was sorry to hear about Mrs. Andrews. I haven't lived in West Helena for more than forty years but I do remember her and Mr Andrews. You may not remember me but Buddy and Ouida Sumner were my parents. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
