Hubert Archie Baysinger, age 74 of Harriet, Arkansas passed from his loving home to his loving Father's eternal home in heaven on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, after a courageous 10 year battle with COPD. He was born in Leslie, Arkansas on June 11, 1940 to Archie and Nettie Marie (Kyle) Baysinger.
Hubert was raised in Harriet, Arkansas. He was born fourth in the line of nine children. Hubert served his country in the United States Navy. He was the beloved husband of Shirley Mae Baysinger for over 32 years. He was retired from the workforce. Hubert will forever be remembered by his devoted brothers, Bobby (Virginia) Baysinger, Bill (Bettie) Baysinger, Cairl (Sue) Baysinger, Danny (Diane) Baysinger and his loving sisters, Louise (Paul Ray) Brown, Joann (Henry) Harkey and Althea Sue (Charles) O'Haver. He will be sorely missed by his beloved children, Ann (Robert) Taylor, Judith Baysinger, Greg Baysinger, Clydette (David) Borawski, treasured grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Jennifer and Adam, and five great-grandchildren, along with countless other friends, family and dog Tuffy, whom were all blessed to know him.
Hubert loved gardening and was said to be able to put a seed on a rock and it would grow because he had a green thumb. He loved being involved in stock car racing, laughing, being with his family, having fun with friends and all types of animals. Hubert touched the lives of many people with his mischievous and crooked smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
Hubert was welcomed at heaven's gates by his parents, a beloved brother, Delbert, treasured dog, Bodacious and many more family and friends.
Funeral services for Hubert will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Blaine Moffet officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2015 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery near Harriet, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Tommy Simpson, Gary Foster, Chris Harkey, Joel Baysinger, Mark Baysinger and Tim Baysinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Thomas Simpson, Charles O'Haver, Jerry Foster, Lewis Mathews, Heath Mathews, Paul Mathews and David Anderson. The family wishes to thank the wonderful people who gave such wonderful care for Hubert in his time of need.
