Joyce Pfeifer, 74 of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at
St. Bernards. She was born April 23, 1940 in Ann Arbor, MI to Vernie and Verna Morris Parrish. Joyce was a retired tax consultant for H & R Block. She is a member of Connection Point Baptist and had lived in the Jonesboro area for over 50 years, formerly of McDougal.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Crela Hatley and Tullin Melton.
Survivors include, husband Doyle Pfeifer; sons, Mark Steele (Michelle), Chris Pfeifer (Shelby) and Carey Pfeifer all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, April Steele, Tony Steele, Jordan Steele, Jake Steele, Cheyenne Williamson, Kirk and Molly Pfeifer; great grandchild, Eli Steele; sister, Brenda Garver of Brookland; brother, Darrell Parrish of Jonesboro.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 17, at 11:00 AM, at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, with Chad White officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 16 from 6-8 PM at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washingtion.
