Faye Toliver, age 90, of Peel, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri.
Faye was born September 4, 1924 in Peel, Arkansas to the late William Jake and Alice (Risley) Yocham. A lifetime resident of the area, she was a homemaker, and a member of Peel Baptist Church. She had lived in the Baptist Home in Ozark, Missouri for the past 8 ½ months, but Peel was always her home.
Mrs. Toliver is survived by four sons: Norman Higley and his wife, Shirley, of Rolla, Missouri;
Nolan Toliver and his wife, Beverly, of Peel, Arkansas;
Benny Toliver and his wife, Jenny, of Ozark, Missouri; and
Orbin Toliver and his wife, Paulette, of Colorado;
one daughter, Freda Slatten and her husband, Darrell, of Fairview, Missouri;
fourteen grandchildren;
thirty-four great-grandchildren;
and one great-great grandchild.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Lester ''Slim'' in 1989;
by two brothers: Everett and Joe; and
by three sisters: Zula, Virgie, and Versal.
Visitation for Mrs. Toliver will be from noon until 1:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Burn Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville, Arkansas.
A Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Peel Cemetery in Peel, Arkansas with Bro, Carroll Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Clint Toliver, Josh Toliver, Eric Toliver, Matt Toliver, Darrel Gene Slatten, Nathan Toliver, and Chris Brewer.
